All-Season Concrete

TEMPtect™ is engineered to help overcome the challenges of placing concrete in extreme temperatures, extending the construction season into colder winter conditions and warmer summer months.

Developed with the needs of Canadian construction in mind, TEMPtect™ provides controlled and predictable setting characteristics while maintaining workability in conditions that can make conventional concrete placement more challenging.

Performance

TEMPtect™ is specifically designed to perform outside the traditional temperature range for concrete placement.

The Canadian formulation can permit concrete placement in temperatures from approximately −7 °C to 40 °C, depending on the selected mix and project conditions.

When CAN/CSA A23.1 practices are followed, TEMPtect™ can provide a controlled initial set of approximately four hours, within a ±1-hour range.

The TEMPtect™ range includes mix options designed for different cold- and hot-weather conditions, allowing the appropriate solution to be selected based on ambient and concrete temperatures.
